Moving right along!

Good morning!

Last night I brought my pie over to my friend’s a little early so I could slice up the banana and hand whip the cream. This was an effort to keep it tasting and looking fresh. It was so fresh, in fact, that the whipped cream barely made it out of liquid form. After I discovered my friend didn’t have a whisk, I spent the majority of the evening catching up with the girls from the kitchen, frantically whipping the cream with a fork. The lesson to this story is always come prepared, and to have a nice tall glass of pink champagne while you whip. It helps.


The toffee part of the pie was a little chewy, but still super tasty, and everyone had seconds, so I think that’s a good sign.

This morning I somehow had the energy to make it out of bed for a quick morning run. When I walked out the front door of my apartment, I was greeted by a New York sunrise.


It’s a beautiful morning here, all 65 November degrees of it, so have a fantastic day!
